The carbon mesh gives a different strength to weight ratio and is placed strategically on the bottom of the fins to achieve the flex pattern of the hybrid: Rigid on the bottom and flexible on the top;
The light wood (bamboo mate) gives the fins a retro look and at the same time optimise the weight ratio, achieving an astonishing ~62 to ~72 grams for fin; The weight can vary due to the density of the material and the size of the fin: small - large size.
